Trinity College School is a leading co-educational boarding and day school for students in grades 5-12. As 2019 came to a close, I was approached to design The Strategic Plan for Trinity College School 2020-2025 and provide art direction for the strategic plan website.
The plan outlines six strategic goals – which fall under 3 pillars of focus – that will guide the school’s actions over the next five years. Building on the current TCS brand, the design solution incorporated strong photography, typography, and custom illustrations to communicate detailed strategies into a clear and easy-to-digest document.
What I Provided:
“A delight to work with, Sarah's commitment to a project and fresh approach to design are remarkable. She immerses herself in every project she takes on, working to first understand her clients' goals and then delivering creative that meets their needs perfectly.”Ashley DiNovaDirector of Communications, Trinity College School
ILLUSTRATION: PILLAR A
I was asked to create custom illustrations to represent each of the 3 pillar statements of the Strategic Plan. The icons highlight the towers found on some of the historic buildings on the Trinity College School campus.
ILLUSTRATION: PILLAR B
The vector illustrations were created in a simplistic monoline style that translates well across a broad range of applications.
ILLUSTRATION: PILLAR C
Using a single weight continuous line, the illustrations are great solutions for one-colour icons that are strong visuals and are easily recognizable to the TCS community.
